Medieval Paintball!

lucoWas kidnapped this weekend, dragged down to visit my friend Megs and then roped into helping out at her work for four hours. What was I doing? Well, I was standing there, making sure forms were filled out, that only three pairs were in the ring at any one time, making sure the pairs didn't run into each other and that the people outside of the ring didn't play with the weapons.
Can you guess what I was doing?
And remember, this is in a mall....
And was free for anyone, but children needed parents to sign their forms.
Any guesses? No?
We let kids (and adults) beat up people with weapons! It was a medieval version of paintball, where you relieve all your stress by hacking away at the other person. Some of the kids really wanted to go in, but were nervous at first...
But once they had a few swings, they were more then happy to go after our knights!
And they looked so damn adorable doing it!
Cute is deadly.
Of course, if you hit the legs, then the knights had to kneel for the rest of the fight.
And that would be Megs, making sure all three groups in at one time didn't run into each other.
The guy in black is Megs boss and the one who runs this. A really nice guy who we all love to see get beaten.
Every hour, the knights did a demo, and this attracted more people...
All of them posing at the end!
And then not posing. . .
But they behaved when Megs told them too. She is the scariest one there after all. . .
And you get a bonus pic of me and Megs!
Well, actually later on you will be seeing more pictures of us two since we were the last fight. Everyone, including my mom and brother wanted me to take her on in the ring, so finally I said yes and we grabbed shields and swords and went after each other. A very good workout and soo much fun, even though I am now one big walking bruise. . .
But those photos are on her camera and she hasn't sent them yet. When they do get here, I'll promise to post them and then you can laugh at me.
Actually the best fight was between the guy in chainmaille and his wife. he finally convinced to have a swing and she loved it! They went right after each other and were laughing and smiling the whole entire time. It was so much fun to watch!
Anyways, hopefully your weekends were fun?
I'm still rushing with homework, but will catch up with comments and stuff once I'm done character design. I want to get it done by 5, but I doubt it. Wish me luck, please ;__;
