Life Drawing!

So, since people actually wanted to see these, here you go ^___^

30 seconds

More 30s

1 minutes

2 mins

2 mins

2 mins

2 mins

2 mins (model in a huge fabric sock)

5 mins each drawing of the model fighting herself. Had to make one glowing and the other not.

The guys like this outfit on her (10 minutes)

So yes, that was my life drawing class yesterday ^__^ Not bad for as I said, not drawing for a month or more >_>;

0.0 !!! I like!! ^_______^

My friend is taking art at Mac. and she has to do life drawings as well. I love all the varieties of style that come out of these. I haven't done life drawing for a year or so, but they were always fun to do.

Great job. I love how simple yet emphasized these are.

hot! I love the sense of motion to them

Wow, that is so cool that you can draw something like that in 30 sec!!

I adore the fencing one <3~

THAT! That is my very favorite thing about art! Not the complicated details, not even the gorgeous colors, just the beautiful clean lines nature gave us communicated onto paper.

And you do it WELL. The bottom-line stuff that makes everything built on it fundamentally beautiful and can make anything look like crap if it's not there. That last one is a great example. The casual fall of the shadow on her arm, the way you caught the motion of her hair swinging, as off-handed and intrinsic as sunlight. It's in all your work, and that's why I love it.

Wow, I love gesture drawings!

... even your gesture drawings look like you've spent hours on them ;_;

Man, I wish I was an artist and could give you some other comment than "WOW THOSE ARE REALLY COOL." But that's all I got sooooo...

WOW THOSE ARE REALLY COOL *.* Especially like the last two and the 2 minutes ones.

I see some blue toes there! haha!

Now, I'm no artist but I think that's pretty good for only a few minutes! I really liked the last two!

And your model is brave, I don't think I could *ahem* bare it all, even for art!

Your life drawing class is livlier than mine, hee! None of my drawing classes has ever involved a giant sock.
I like these. The short sketches really capture a sense of motion and brevity.
And "lol" at your male classmates. XD

[identity profile] moon-fleet.livejournal.com 2008-03-06 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
AH! Your lines are so confident! Damn I really like the pose in the third 2 minute sketch. There's so much flow in the lines, like you expect everything to keep moving. The fabric sock one is beautiful, man doing the shading on that must have been fun.
ext_75817: a section of a brown and white feather with the words "Birds of a feather" in the bottom right corner of the image. (Lets play)

You've got great motion in all of your figures, all those nice smooth lines. yeah. *stares whistfully* The last one looks painful. I was (ironically) at my lifedrawing class tonight when the model didn't show up. So all of the students took turns being the model. And every single one complained about something falling asleep afterwards. And those were normal poses. That just looks painful.

My favorite is the one of the girl fencing herself but all are really good for the amount of time you had.

I like them. There's a lot of action in the poses. But ya know what? I wanna see your blanket!

ahhhh, i love life-drawing exercises. there's something so fluid about them, when you do them well, y'know? heh, does she really have those big, walnut-crackin' thighs? :D

oh, i forgot--nice toenail polish.
