Eep?
So, I is moving tomorrow morning.
And I've been told Internet may take a week to get set up (which still makes no sense to me but bleh) so you won't be hearing from me during that period. Yet, i can almost guarantee you'll be flooded with art when I do get it back! Starting with the Will picture which everyone seems to like (a fact that makes me more then a little happy)
And I'll take pictures of the new place and of other random things! And you can laugh at me, because I actually don't have any furniture (not even a bed >_>;) just boxes and boxes of mostly art stuff, with a bit of clothing, lots of books (even if over 75% will have to remain here until I can get shelves), 4 swords, one pirate hat and doll stuff. Figurines will also remain here until I have a desk or dresser or display case of some kind for them.
But I do have the master bedroom which has a walk-in closet and a half-bath, and I'll have a window i can open, and an area where I can go outside and will be near three art stores (Curry's Loomis, the school) and if I wanna go downtown Toronto, the train isn't far away and there is a beach and I'll be able to mail everyone's stuff because the post office is right across the street and it'll be mine and a home and and and....
I'm so damn scared, no matter how happy this is making me.
Oh and we're supposedly getting a cat, which has already been names Zack, a fact that amuses me greatly. And I'm also a little unsure about that. I mean, I love animals, but have no real experience living with them for extended periods of time, except with Zoie (mom's first cat) but that was only a few months before I moved and we did not get along at all.
So this will be interesting indeed.
I'd also like to state that my dolls have more (and better) clothing then I do and this amuses a lot of people and causes a lot of others to threaten to take me shopping, but none that ever follow through. Especially since I haven't really gotten myself new clothing in what 5 years? Mom tries once in a while, but besides having very pretty and sometimes shiny underwear, I have not much colour in my clothing and most of it looks like it was stolen off my older brother or else that I'm ready to work at an office (or else as a pirate...but even those aren't all that much).
*laughs* Maybe if i can find a job I'll find someone who can help me get some clothing that supposedly flatters me and shows off 'who i really am'. For now, I'll stick with my jeans and hoodies. Well, jeans and bandages right now, until tomorrow when it's jeans and random button up shirts ^^;
Hmm, maybe I do need a change. Anyone in the oakville/toronto area wanna take an art student clothes shopping? *laughs* I promise to be good and not whine?
But yes, I'll stop rambling and help direct the last of the cleaning and packing and get some food into me. Then sleep and moving and yeah!?
