Both kids were more then pleased with their pictures (the boy adored his and it's hanging above his bed and supposedly he is still grinning right now and wants to give me a hug) which makes me pleased!

And relieved.

Now, I'm being a good little artist and working on the next commission ((and Avatar one)) and only if I get the bg and base colours done and sent off for approval will I do a little bit of silly sketching for myself. See! I'm working on being more responsible. It's not easy, but I'm figuring out a system that works with the way I function and so far...the results have been good.

Hopefully it can last through drastic mood swings, but I won't know till it happens.

I think it's because I enjoy drawing for kids and giving them something nice to look at...because a lot of the stuff I see out there for them, well, it sucks >>;

Aww, sadface. I pretty much burned out on the Maiko Big Bang, myself. Too much writing, not enough pay-off.

Yup. People just started dictating what they thought I was suppose to draw and then when I drew something else they ignored, insulted or tried to change it around. It lost it's fun...but...I find if I stay away from pairing stuff and stick with silly, I can manage ^^; That and I avoid the comms >>;

I like them, though apparently not enough to watch more than a dozen episodes. I should get back to that.

Possibly? I don't really remember specifics but yeah. It was also and overload because seriously, I did WAY too much too quickly. But yeah, I'm happier and I'm learning to not let things affect me as much! I'm mostly drawing for myself now.
