Sorry...no art this update ^^;;;

I thought just came to me though...about how comforting the weight of hair can be. I know I'm probably recieving weird looks right now, but it's true!

When i was little I had my hair long till about Grade 6..it went past my waist. But I also enjoyed swimming and one day after coming out of the pool and finding myself tangled up in my hair, I asked the Lady at the counter (I was at the YMCA at the time)for a pair of sissors and cut all my hair off.

Man, did mom get mad...

But ever since then I had kept short hair..until the past year or so and now it's past my shoulders and thick.

And the weight of it against my back and the slight tug on my head from where it's tied up is pleasnt and soothing. Strange, but it's true. I adore my hair...tis the one thing about me that I'm proud (physically at least) but i never really stopped to think about how safe it makes me feel.

And yeah I'll stop rambling now...

S'not really rambling. Just a satating of a pleasent fact. I have had my hair long and short and I must say I really do prefer it short. I unlike you like the lack of weight. Thats my comfort. ^_^ As for things I pround of physically, I'd say yea, my hair is one of em.

Grin....yeah to each their own, but all in all, hair is a very comforting thing...especially when someone else brushes it *melts at the thought*

Heh s'where we differ again. ^__^ Don't really enjoy people brushing my hair. Occanionally I do but mostly not...then again I'm not really fond of people touching me at all so that could have something to do with it. ^^'

Oh gosh. It does feel good when other people brush my hair. I turn into a puddle (another way I'm turned into a puddle is by having my back massaged, my sister's have gotten away with murder by massaging my back for an hour and asking me to take them to movies or borrow things....). My hair's about halfway down my back. I love it. ^_^

Oh, I know what you mean about the weight of hair. ^_^ *purr* I remember when I chopped 8 inches off. I came home, looked in the mirror, and cried. But it had to be done. My hair is reeeeally thick and wavy. I blow dry it straight-ish, though. But it was so thick and long that it was too heavy and was giving me headaches. o_O So, now it just hangs right below my shoulders. And I love it. *luffs hair to no end*

But I don't care for someone else to brush it. Probably because every time someone has, they get the brush all tangled or my hair is just too thick and they're too rough. ^^; So I prefer to just do it myself. I felt so sorry for the hair and make up girl trying to put my hair up in a bun during drama. xD

I used to be like that and in most things i am...but if they come near me with a brush and move slowly than they're allowed to brush my hair ^___^ Anything else and they'd better be ready for a fight.

*grin* hair brushing is an amazing feeling, but when it comes to massages it's often hard to get near me. See I have constant back pain due to a slight twist in the spine and it's made me nervous whenever someone goes near it....

But some people have actually tackled me down and given me one...which I enjoyed even if they ended up with a nice collection of bruises ^___^;;

^___^ My hair is thick, but not as thick as my mom's or brothers, and it has just a slight wave so it's neither perfectly straight or all curly *huggles hair*

But it does change colours often and what's even scarier is that it seems to like all the weird dyes out there. it stays soft and shiny and soaks up the dyes and bleach and in the end when i want it too...it goes back to the natural colour just fine ^^

My hair, like me, has a creative side...
