^____^ the last time this meme went around with a scorer that kept a running tally instead of a static one, someone on my flist got pounced on by two friends who decided to have a little comment-posting 'war' to see who could keep the top spot. So they'd post one word at a time, one word per post, spelling out paragraphs that way. The friend with the counter was half amused and half horrified. I think the invention of the NOT-continuously-updating one is a gooooood thing for the sake of LJ's post count...
