Never done this before.....

So...to let you guys get a file from me using Megaupload or whatever...I send the file to myself and then post the link that arrives in the email? is that how it's done? Cause if it is.....here's the link And if it isn't, can someone please explain to me how to do it?

I'm a hopeless idiot ;_;

And if it's all good and you can see it, what do you think? It's not te greatest due to time limitations, it being my first character animation and all, but it's not too bad.

I hope.

Very cool. It's kinda cute, in an odd ballish way ^_~

So it works? I did something right? Yeah!

Well, I think that's incredibly awesome and thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it. As a fan of the older styles of animation, I geratly enjoyed being able to see the pencil version like that. If I may ask, how'd you get the spherical world they're on to look so uniform? Did you have to draw it over for every frame? (Fan I may be, but clueless I am even moreso.) Overall, I think it's got very nice motion quality. You deserve many props.

Thankfully the program we're using just captures pencil lines and none of the white space in between. So we put teh background on one layer and then the ball and tail on another and you can see both. So the background doesn't have to be redrawn. Although if we were getting into camera movemnets and overlays and such then we'd have to be really careful on how well we can redraw our backgrounds.

It's nice to meet a fellow fan of traditional animation ^_____^ It's such a wonderful thing to be able to do.

And i'm glad my little ball and tail looks alright.

awww, it's cute!
I really do love the way actual pencil animation looks, as compared to computer animation.

Good job!

So do I. It's kinda like how I like sketches over finshed ink stuff. There is just something more personal, more alive, more...well quirky with traditional animation. Probably because the computer still cannot mimic everything we can draw ^____^

cute ^^

it kind of made me think of a fox o.0 probably the tail.

[identity profile] luco-millian.livejournal.com 2006-11-22 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs* I was basing it off my mom's cat but yeah, I cna see how the tail would remind you of a fox. It was one of the funner tail types to animate ^__^

[identity profile] coritiacus.livejournal.com 2006-11-22 02:10 pm (UTC)(link)
pfft, cat, fox, what is the difference >.>

I don't know why, but I was expecting a lion tail o.0

probably because the concept of a bouncing ball with a tail reminded me of a bouncing lion emotie I have on MSN ^^ *dumb*

[identity profile] luco-millian.livejournal.com 2006-11-22 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I am a leo >_> But animating a lion's tail was an option but it would have been a pain in the ass trying to keep the thickness the same in such a slender object. That and it would have taken twice as many frames to slow it down to the speed of teh fluff tail I chose to use.

It would have been cute though ^__^

[identity profile] coritiacus.livejournal.com 2006-11-22 03:16 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah, those thin tails are annoying. I can barely draw parallel lines once, let alone 23874357 times for frames x.X

I'm a leo too 8) leos rock.

THAT. Is the cutest thing EVER :D :D :D

*Easily amused much, yes* ^^; But just... too cute <3

lol cute. that must have taken a while to upload onto the computer o_0'
we are all very happy that you did. you've done fine work ^-^
hopefully we get to see more of your stuff online! =)

But it's an adorable ball-with-a-tail!

BTW: I noticed that you have me friended on my other journal, [livejournal.com profile] farashaserval, and I figured I would let you know that this is my new fic journal, and the only thing that will go up in the other one is RL blahdee blah. So if you were watching me for anything else, it's all on this account now :)
