Wow, I've been pretty quite all week huh? Ah well, it's been...interesting to say the least. Anyways, I have the next page of legend and the last one to feature the Seaburgers ^___^ I hope people have enjoyed the time they got to spend with them, but now, we're heading to the surface!

And yeah...that's my apology ^___^

Oooh, the surface and Zoro...can't wait!! Did I mention the art and characters and physiques are gorgeous and stunning? I particularly like Sanji in panels 2 and 4, you do such great work on his expressions.

Date: 2007-02-04 05:48 pm (UTC)Unfortunately I found one thing that confused me... Papa seaburgers seems to have too many joints on one side... All the other seaburgers have one joint on the limbs... But on the last panel the break is after the joint... Then you look at the limb in mama seaburgers arms and the break is before the joint... So the question is: Am I seeing things or is the seaburger too many jointed?

Chopper, he's just misdirecting you. As soon as you start enjoying your lunch, all distracted with food, he'll wander off again, rather like how pirate-love-cook!Sanji does in the manga XD Love love love Sanji's expressions, especially the middle panel. And love his hands, too.

That was a great page! *loves*
Say, I need to talk to you sometime to get picture titles. What do you think?

Date: 2007-02-05 10:28 am (UTC)The second panel is my favorite in this page (no offense for the mourning Seaburger family), Sanji's expression is just... Sanji-like? And, and how you made Sanji took off to making lunch?! He wouldn't ignore his life-calling---even though the prospect of meeting a cutie, supposedly legendary healer of the sea 'Marimo' was very, very tempting. Right, cooking comes first, at least in Sanji's case. LOL.

Okay so he does disappear quite a bit...but still!

Date: 2007-02-05 02:42 pm (UTC)You're right, that last panel on it's own, could very well be heart-breaking. Opps. Anyways...the next page is actually inked so you guys may get it sometime during the week. I actually had to break a page into two parts so I could fit the Seaburger's Good-bye into the story, thus going up to the surface had to be delayed by a page. Such is life.
And you called me Miss again ^___^ Which makes me happy until I finish the sentance and then I just want to laugh.

Date: 2007-02-05 03:21 pm (UTC)And somehow the little sidestory has taken over, and I'vev forgotten the actual plot. -_-
Sanji's face in the fourth panel is perfect! He knows where his priorities lie!
Thank you for another enthralling installment.

Date: 2007-02-06 02:58 am (UTC)And I love how Sanji told Chopper that he doesn't have to worry about him "right now". I can't wait until he manages to sneak away and is horribly disapointed. ^___^

Date: 2007-02-06 05:13 pm (UTC)Chopper is adorable~ I can imagine how he says "yeah!" in reply to Sanji.
Though you're not looking for icons anymore, Chopperfish should get an icon too~! :P

I'm with the other commenters on seaburger revenge, ehehehe. At least they have a limb to remember Mr. Seaburger by, but their expressions! *wibbles some more on their behalf*
And now for a more coherent reply. ;P I happened on your journal about page 6 and have been
stalkingfollowing ever since, and I've gotta say, I really really like the drawing style. Your expressions are so clear, and they always fit the characters so well. (Chopperfish dance! all of Sanji's expressions! Chopperfish hanging out like a kittycat! That image is engraved in my brain, by the way).So do you draw the pictures and ink 'em by hand, and are the background bits CG? They look kinda like marker to me, and if they are, well...*drools in envy* Your crosshatching and other shading are just awesome, and I really really like the different shades/blends in the fins.
no subject
Date: 2007-02-10 07:03 pm (UTC)And yes, I draw them by hand and ink them by hand. I can't afford the markers thus everything else is done on the computer ^___^ The fins are my favourite thing to shade as they're all shiny and multi-layered...it tempts me to do more coloured pictures just so I can play with their fins >_>
Anyways, hope you continue to enjoy this!
