lucoOkay, now I feel a little more normal ^____^
I'll be fine once I can get myself to draw Zoro, until then. . .
This is for everyone going through 'Legend' withdrawl! ((if anyone is??)) I give you one of the cover ideas I was thinking of. Opinions are welcome. This is just a quick grey-scale version to remind me later of what I want to do with it...so sorry about the quality.
Oh and you can thank Delmar for the pose. Without him I couldn't have done this...it's still not right, but hey, I'm getting better!

(curious) Is there a, like, technical resolution graphics-quality thing, or is it just the "I can/should/ought-to-be-able-to do better" thing? 'Cause, y'know. I really kinda like that greyscale effect. Colour is good, too, but there's something about these "quick sketches" that has its own appeal...
Also, if this is the greyscale of the (possible) cover art, it becomes, like, the flyleaf page, right? Right?

Date: 2007-06-30 03:07 am (UTC)Your local stores don't sell comic book paper to feed on the hordes of art students? Shame on them! I understand why my school might not have an art store practically opened inside of it, but you're school has more, you know, talent.
(I noticed Canson just released a line of comic products under the name "Fanboy." They have comic paper in two sizes, I think, with the non photo blue guidelines, as well as paper for cover illustrations with guidelines for where the title graphic and barcode should go. They also have really pointless things with "manga" slapped onto it, like a "manga sketch pad" which is just a regular ol' sketchbook, so it's not just whatever brand it is that normally sells the comic book paper anymore in the stores now. You know, the one in the plastic wrap... Maybe that one was Blue Line).
