Hello again
Jan. 31st, 2009 06:33 pmSo, I'm actually typing this from my new laptop! Yeah, it was time I got a new computer and since I got a credit card I figured I might as well get it out of the way. My poor desktop is old and can't handle all the art programs, the animation work and downloading so yeah...
But this little guy seems to work just fine. Still in the process of transferring programs over, but what little I have done runs so much more smoothly and makes me oh so very happy. Maybe now I can get back to art.
It also helps that I've finally started making both doctor and counseling appointments to help me deal with last December (since I'm not as over it as I thought and it's really been destroying every day living) and the animation that was due last semester is finally done. I've basically had no sleep and very little time to do anything but animate, but finally it is done.
Actually, I do have the next two pages of the P4 comic markered and such, but while animating, I could not move my scanner at all, so nothing else could be worked on. Those will hopefully be up by the end of the weekend once I have this little laptop fully functional.
I was also bad and bought some copic markers because, I'm finding it really relaxing and enjoyable to do some stuff that doesn't require a computer, and I think it helps improve my digital skills too when I'm forced to work without a delete button.
So, with school being dealt with as best I can, and medication to help me finally get some sleep and relax, I think you'll actually start hearing from me again and seeing art. And I don't even know if any of this post is actually making any sense, but oh well. It's main purpose is to tell people who worry, that yes, I am alive, was just swamped with school work and more then a little stressed out.
