Apr. 9th, 2011 11:18 amYesterday sucked.
It started off awesome ((I made some money by doing a quick painting job and was able to buy two volumes of Fairy Tale and a bit of food)) but then went to hell.
I went out in the early evening to get something to snack on while I started some artwork, but behind the Walmart, there was this group of guys (and one or two girls) They were being loud and annoying but didn't seem really vicious or anything so I just gave them some space and continued on.
Unfortunately one of them was drunk and thought I was a good friend of his so he left that group and came running at me, picking me up around the waist and trying to kiss me.
The results were not pretty.
He;s got a broken nose, a black eye and a partially fractured arm and I have bad bruising along my back a lightly sprained ankle and an almost snapped right wrist. It could have gone worse, but luckily the rest of the group realized what was going on and got me away from him and one of the girls recognized all the symptoms of a panic attack and she and the other girl took me away from the guys and got me to calm down. I'm not sure what happened next, but I know there was a hospital trip, I declined to press charges since he was indeed drunk, didn't mean any harm, all injuries were from me attacking him and his friends helped both of us after.
But I couldn't sleep last night and there will be no video games or drawing for at the very least a week and being home alone after that sucks. I spent the night thinking very stupid things and so called the mental health crisis line. They are sending a worker over to check up on me and give me an assessment. I may end up going to the hospital or one of their care centers for a few days or I may just have someone calling me every few hours to check up on me
But you know...as fucked up as this whole situation is and as sore as I ma right now...I'm proud of the fact that I'm still here today. Last year, that might not have been the case.
Also, typing one-handed sucks.
((and just a little side-note....anyone else wants to call and say hi, feel free to. We have quite a few free North American minutes that never actually get used >>; 705-726-9545))
