Back!

I am back from my kidnapping ^____^ I'm also, exhausted, sunburnt, covered in dust and very happy ^____^

Things that were done over the weekend include: swimming, drawing, lots of good food, going to the zoo, seeing Hairspray (and falling in love with that movie) and hanging out with two wonderful people.

So...I think I'm going to crash and sleep, then respond to everything tomorrow.

The zoo was a lot of fun if a little too hot...I think I'll go back when it's a bit cooler so that more of the animals will want to run around ^___^

And yeah...it was a very busy weekend.

Hairspray is my absolute favorite movie of the summer! One of my good friends has seen it four times already! I've only seen it twice! XD

How cute was John Travolta? I just want to hug him as Edna.

Hairspray totally rocked. Travolta was awesome, and Queen Latifah can be in as many musical as she wants as far as I'm concerned ^_^

HAIRSPRAY!
I love that movie too, both versions. The music in the new one is MUCH MUCH BETTER, and there is ZOMG a plot with holes you CAN'T drive a truck through...
...I just kind of miss the cracked-out too-much-stuffed-in plot of the first one.
I mean, BEATNIKS. Come on. XD

I saw the original several months ago on late night-early morning TV.

It also features blacks and teenagers overrunning an amusement park, a pink, roach-print dress, and exploding hair.
