Shit, just shit!

They made an announcment over the Rez PA saying that the police were coming door to door. Fine. I heard a knock, heard police, opened the door-

And had three members of The SWAT team standing there, full gear with three really big guns pointed at me.

I am beyond shaky now. Police I can understand, but this getting a little out of hand and I am now officially a mess. If anyone wants to call and keep me distracted, the number here is

Hey, hun. I know they aren't telling you anything, so I went searching to see what I could find. The Toronto Sun has this to say:

"Sheridan College's Trafalgar campus is under lockdown after a teacher and students reported seeing a man with a gun, students at the school said.

"Police are slowly letting out small groups of students at the Oakville campus.

"Students said the man was wearing a camouflaged jacket and was holding a long gun.

"Police have not been able to find the suspect or the gun.

"Police took a man into custody, but he was later released. Staff and students also heard an automated message cautioning them that the school was in lockdown over the campus’s loudspeakers."

*hugz* Poor you. I hope you're feeling a bit better now. I was in France 2 years ago, and it was when the riots were happening, and I was in a subway near the back, and the door open and I had the exact same thing happen. Door almost hit my head too.

If they're doing a room-by-room, then I'm not at all surprised that it was SWAT members going around, in a group, or... doing what they did, basically. That *is* what they're trained to do, and until they can prove otherwise they sort of *have* to assume that the person they're looking for is behind each and every door, waiting to shoot them first.
