Hate Allergies...

So yesterday's plans were spoiled due to a hospital trip. Went down the hall to throw out the garbage and the people next door were cooking with peanut oil.

Luckily they are nice people and once they realized what had happened, they drove me to the hospital, and left a cell number so that they could be called when I needed to be picked up. All in all, I felt bad for putting them in a panic and just told them that the next time they are cooking with it to let me know ahead of time so that I can stay out of the hall or just go out for a bit, since really, it is their home and I have no right to dictate what they do in it.

But as nice as they are it does mean I lost a full day. Which has put me behind and Anime North is in one week and there is so much I wanna do and yeah...and I'm still groggy.

I hate Benadryl.

The one really good thing is I have an epi-pen again! The doctor realized I didn't have one and when I told him I just can't afford one (and was hoping to get one after Anime North if all went well) he glared at me and left. Then he came back with an epi-pen. It's unmarked so I can't take it on planes and such, but the expiry date is good and I have one again so yeah!

But now, I'm going to see if I can get more buttons done. I wanna get all the designs for them done by Monday and after that it will just be bookmark work (as well as two things for my costume which I really hope work out well) and then cutting and making and packing and....

I feel tired all of a sudden.

I'm glad they were willing to help you out ^_^ they sound like understanding people. So does the doctor. I think you can get it all done! *sends energy and hugs*

PS The multiple choice story is coming along well ^_^

I'm glad you are okay now! Luckily your neighbors are nice people.
Is there really nothing you can work out with your health insurance that they will cover the epi pen and maybe even some permanent anti-allergic pills, so you don't have to suffer and go to the hospital every few weeks?

And good luck with catching up with art!

Oh hon, I'm so sorry that happened! I'm glad it wasn't too bad yet, though.

I've already started packing--I've managed to fit a rice cooker, a Zack figure and Potion, my clothes and five bags of gummi candy into a bag, and now I just have to see if I can fit your Bleach pictures into my backpack to bring with me.

OMG...6 days...

I hate Benadryl

I sooo second that, my allergies are pretty bad year round, I really have no trigger it's usually just 'one of those days'. I'm miserable and I can't get anything done, so I take Benadryl, then I'm drowsy and sleepy and hell so nothing gets done anyways.

Damn you antihistamines ....

Glad to hear you got the pen - it can be a literal lifesaver as I'm sure you know full well. (Have a friend from college that I likely wouldn't have any longer if she hadn't had one)

*hugs* Hope things go well for the con!
