Art again ^___^
It seems ice cream is a good source of inspiration....dad bought me some the other day (I haven't had any in about five months..*growls*) and all of a sudden I've been drawing almost non-stop.
These are some of the better ones I've done in that time ^__^

Hah! Got another one for that challenge done....and I like this picture of him...

Thanks, but it's true....I'm very good, but no natural talent.
And now...to work on the next Yuber Challenge pic...

*tilts head* Are you familiar with the brothers Hildebrandt? The animals have something in common with their style. The proportions, I think. They look much stronger than most wing-y things. I like it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like devouring Yuber....

Very rare to have them both happy when only one of them is in the pic..

(Anonymous) 2004-07-06 02:56 pm (UTC)(link)Look, I can almost relate to what you are saying about being good, but with no natural talent. Mine is slightly in reverse. I have a talent for singing, but I have had to work at it like mad! (not that it makes sense!) My music teacher said that the talent is there, but the accent is getting in the way. Merci, Mme. She's a little on the evil side :-)
What I want more than almost anything is to play Christine in Phantom of the Opera. I have loved it more than anything ever since I have heard it. I am actually listening to Music of the Night right now :-)
However, in any case, I have to disagree about you not having talent. No one could have no talent and still draw like you do.

"Your good, but you've had to work for it. You have no natural talent for it, while your brother does."
Those were her words.
And one day...I'll have to hear you sing ^___^ I'll be the first in line for tickets. And accents are gorgeous in music!!! Your teacher doesn't know how to keep an open mind...*growls*
*hugs you*

(Anonymous) 2004-07-07 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)And your mum doesn't know what she is talking about. I don't believe that it is possible. To have talent and to be good at something (as good as you are, especially) goes hand in hand. To be required to work at it doesn't mean that you don't have talent. I think it would signify talent as opposed to denying it. (Is that a correct sentence? It doesn't seem right...).
You SHOULD hear me sing. I am getting a phone card to call my friends in England. I should call you as well. You can hear me then. Do you mind giving me your number?
Loves and huggles,
