Finally gathered the courage to answer her calls. She wants me and my sibling to go down to Milton on March 6th and pick up what's left of the belongings.

Anyone wanna offer a ride from Barrie to Milton and back? Seriously? Because, I know my mom means well, but if she goes down (or anyone from her side of the family) then there will be war and I know I can't handle that. She says that a car would be able to hold all of it.

A car.

Everything that was missing is now reduced to one car load.

And she's emptied the safety deposit box and sold all the computer stuff.

She SOLD my portfolio and most of my art from the past 6 years for scrap metal.

I just want to get what's left and then sit down with Lee and decide whether or not we wanna pursue this mess even further. It really depends on what's left I guess. She says there is money coming, but it will have to wait till after dad's income taxes are filed, but doesn't she understand that I don't care? It's not the money. And yes I always realized that a lot of dad's stuff would have to be sold to pay bills and such, it's the fact that MY personal property and family possessions were taken.

I'm just so damn tired.

Thank you guys for being here for me. I think...I'm just going to curl up in bed with my laptop and draw. Sketch whatever comes to my head and just get it out.

After a hot shower and maybe something chocolatey.

Hold on a second - I think I missed something, here. Let me get this straight...she sold everything you owned? With the exception of a car full of items? And most of what she sold were your art supplies and artwork?

With all of the love in my heart, who the fuck does she think she is? What was the reason for this? Did I miss something, here? She was supposed to be holding those items for you - for YOU, HOLDING - not SELLING them. Who the fuck does she think she is?

That's illegal. She can't sell your property without your say-so - seized, executor or not. This fucking woman....who the hell... I just... what the hell?!

Wish I could help with the driving but I've been put on a new medication that means I'm not allowed to drive. I'm really not sure how she's getting away with selling your things, but I will be hoping for things to start getting better for you and yours soon. *sends many hugs*
