It's that time again!

What time you may ask?

Simple. It's that moment that happens every few months were I go through a few days where everything I do turns out like crap, nothing is working and I wanna give up until I remember that this happens often! Why? Because art, like everything else needs constant practice and I need it a little more often then most.

I'm sadly not one of the naturally talented ones who can almost always produce something amazing, who don't really need to work at something to get it and who just seem to flow through everything beautifully. I need to sit down and re-learn anatomy, need to practice drawing backgrounds and objects, need to sketch in a variety of different styles and colour and paint in many different styles as well.

I need to stop, take a week and simply work on it.

Which is what this week will be. I'm just curious if anyone would like to see what get's sketched/practiced/painted/etc...

Because I can post them if you want...although as a warning, they will be rough and (in the case of the anatomy work) mostly technical stuff, but I know some people like seeing it...

Otherwise, just know that's the reason that nothing has gotten worked on.

EDIT! Oh yes! Before I forget, since I'm doing this...is there an area in my art that you think needs more work? Whether it's backgrounds, character/people types, poses, animals etc.....? Let me know, please!

I would love to see your stuff posted, even if it's sketches/practice, in progress works, or even testing out colours. LOL. Sometimes it is the most interesting stuff.

I know how you feel. I actually need to get back into practice for Sept for school. Kinda excited, but I feel like I'll be sitting there with 'artist syndrome'

I think you should post whatever you want! If you don't want to, that's cool, but if you want to share, I say do it! This is your space to do what you want, so do it to the fullest =3

Sketches I guess do offer a different look and feel...

....I kinda miss school. But at the same time, I know I am no where near focused enough to accept their scheduling.

I would, I really enjoy seeing your rough stuff ^_^ I know what you mean about sometimes needing to practice though.

If I had to say they're one thing I'd say profiles. The eyes and forehead usually look a bit off to me. But then again I'm not an artist so what do I know ^_^'
