The strangest things are enough to hit that switch sometimes. It's not like I have any particularly good advice, or anything, because "hang in there" is absolutely worthless. But, in my own experience, college... lets you alone more than high school. Sometimes that helps; sometimes it doesn't. For what it's worth, I think you sound self-aware enough to make it all happen.
