Poor Zack...

Zack (the big green Dragon with Seph) looks on in confusion as Luco lays out two very similar pieces of fabric and then points to the lady standing beside him*

You're a Dragon and she's going to be residing in your page on the website, so which one do you think looks better on her?

Zack: *looks again at the strictly gold design and then at the one that has pale colours woven into the same gold design. Both fabrics are pretty and he shakes his head again, growling softly in frustration at being unable to decide*

Dragon Lady: *moves up beside him and soothingly runs his neck* It is okay if you cannot decide. We shall simply have to put it to a vote.

*sighs* So it would seem....

I have done one part of the design in colour and left the rest just as gold outlines so hopefully that will allow you to picture in your head what each looks like.

I just can't decide if I should add the colour or not *cries* Also, if the colour scheme looks off tell me. I'm not use to dealing with so many warm colours....

Hard decision. But I think I like the colors, ultimately.

I know it's a hard decision.....and it has me stuck..

So a vote for colour!

Exactly HOW.... *blinku* ...that detail... *points at the skirt* ... *can't think of anything intelligent to say* *STARE*

I drew one design on her skirt with gold (using my tablet ^__^) and then duplicated that layer and moved it around and erased parts of it....so I cheated a bit ^^;;;;

Drawing right on the computer is hard....I prefer sketching by hand.

Colors! Colors!

[identity profile] luco-millian.livejournal.com 2005-07-22 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

No hesitation here I see ^___^

Another vote for colours!

I think it depends, ultimately, on what you're aiming for in the feel of the picture. They're both beautiful designs, but the straight gold design give the lady a more mature, sophisticated feel, while the pastel design makes her seem younger and more playful by association.

I want to recommend the gold, because it's so cool and almost oriental-looking and I'm a sucker for anything that looks oriental, but the colors are so damned COOL I think I'll have to vote for those. Besides, the pastel colors are a nice offset to the massive gold bulk of the dragon. ^_^

Another vote for colour. It seems colour shall win, but I understand what you're saying about both designs.

And looking at the picture now, with the dragon partially shaded...the design would be lost without the colour in it....

But I'm going have draw someone with an all dark black or blue dress and just gold designs all across cause it's so damn pretty!

Well, the picture as it looks here is rather dark, in which case I vote for color. If, however, it will ultimately be bright or quite multicolored, then I'd stick with the gold outlines for contrast.

*waves* Yeah, that was me.

Well, besides the big massively gold and bright dragon, she's all dark, so I think I'll have to put the colours in or else I'll lose her.....

Hmmm.....(is still deciding though ^^;;;)

oooooooohhhhh.... I like it just in gold. That's gorgeous! man... not only do I want your talent, I want her dress!! O.O

[identity profile] luco-millian.livejournal.com 2005-07-22 05:06 pm (UTC)(link)
You're going to have to wait in line for her dress (I get first dibs...)

As for talent...ummm....I don't have a job or anything else but drawing in my life so art 12 hours a day (if not longer) = a lot of practice ^____^

And a vote just for gold! The first one too.
