Well, a few of you wanted to see the gestures I did of the baby lion early today. Now remember, the teacher wanted us to spend no more then 30 seconds on each drawing. . . .

It was difficult to get any clear or finished drawings because even 10 seconds seemed too long of a time to stand still for the little lion. he just wanted to play with the couch cushion!

So here you go:

Opinions? I know they aren't much but hey, some of the I could get some decent pictures out of later. . .

He was sooooo cute ^_^

I'm learning to capture live animals! It's a pain in the ass, but fun when you finally get the hang of it ^^

I'm hoping to get a chance to finish them. I have some animal anatomy books and then books on wildcats so, I should be able to do something with them ^___^

...I hate you for having coherant gesture drawings ARE THESE REALLY 30 SECOND SKETCHES!?! THIS IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR. >.< But then, I'm sure I'll get/am getting better... slowly.

Great job capturing the smooth curviness of the little guy, it very much makes me want to play with him. ^^

Well...they're 10 to 30 seconds >_>;; And it does take quite a bit of practice to be able to sketch a moving animal. You can see the pages slowly getting better and better. I would have drawn more, but my hands were starting to freeze. It's slightly chilly here ^^;

Glad to know people can tell what he is though ^___^

wow these are great, I'd forgotten that you only had 30 seconds, I like the fact that you can see in each one where you had a little more time to look at the lion, head, haunches, I guess depending on what he was doing at the time ^_^
