So, I've been seeing it all over LJ, the 'take one photo a day for te rest of the year thing' and it kind of appeals to me. Besides, I found a $20 test camera in the mall today ^__^ (the guy had used it for taking pictures of his merchandise for Ebay, but got a new one and liked me so...) and it takes fairly decent pictures.

So, we shall give this a shot. If it starts to annoy people let me know and I'll try to figure out that filter thing lj has...

Until then, I thought'd I'd tease everyone waiting for the next page of 'Legend' by showing you my desk at this very moment. There are a few things there that might interest you...

Please excuse the mess, but this place is only a temporary home. My place at school is much nicer. And, not bad for a $20 camera huh? Am planning to buy a GOOD one once I get my student loan, but that'll ahve to wait a few more months....

Oh and yes! this means I'll be able to take pictures of Delmar finally ^____^ and you can see the clothes I made for him! Nothing fancy, but it's my first time making clothes for someone else ;__; I'll take a photo of him tommorrow, when there is better light.

Ah, is that the Dolfie you have an an DeviantArt icon?
I really like those Dolfie Dolls, but they *really* are expensive ^^'

And yes, plushies don't cooperate with me either; I haven't done a lot (yet), but somehow it never works out the way I planned ^^'

Say, how long does it take you averagely to draw a page like that or a little Plushie comic strip?
I'm just curious because I can't draw to save my life, so I was wondering how you manage to provide us with a page each day.

My icon on DA is the doll model I have, yes, but the photo is from the official site. Once I have a good picture of MY baby, I'll switch ^___^ And yeah, they are expensive. I had to save up quite a long time and had to find just the right one. I'm more then happy with Delmar though ^___^

Drawing time? Well, the sketch takes about 1-2 hours. Clean up and inking another hour or two and then shading on the computer, another hour. So about 6 hours of work? The plushie comics take longer because they're done completely on the computer. They usually take me around 12 hours? For a short one ^___^

Once school starts up, I won't be able to do a page a day, but two or three pages a week shouldn't be too hard, I don't think.

Wow, so basically you sacrifice 6 hours of your time every day to provide us Zoro/Sanji-hungry people with a page??? 0.o
And those adorable plushie comics take even longer???

Thank you for all the work you do!! Seriously!

And school will start up on monday? Or do you still have another week?

*laughs* I'm basically drawing all day. But I don't mind. That's what I do at school too, although then it's stuff that I HAVE to do and not WANT to do...so yeah. I'm use to those hours.

And school starts Monday. I've had three weeks already ^__^

I'm *really* glad you like doing that!! Because I could understand that since you have to draw so much for school, you don't want to draw in your free time as well. But it seems your a true artist and that makes it good for us ^.~

And how is art school? Are you able to often chose what you want to do or are the really strict limitations what you have to draw?

Well, I'm going in for animation, so it's failry strict guidelines, but how we go about meeting those guidelines......they give us a lot of freedom and at the same time they don't.

They want to see what we can come up with on our own and then they want to see if we're able to follow the orders from a director. You have to be very flexable and adaptable and quick to survive this course.

It's a hell of a lot of fun though ^____^

Do you wanna do Anime/Cartoon Animation later on or do commercials or stuff like that?
Animation sounds like a lot of fun, but it seems you have to be very creative as well. Especially to come up with good ideas that fit the guidelines seems hard to me ~_~

But I'm glad you like it!!
