Back Home!!

Moved back into school and all is well again ^____^ It didn't take long for me to unpack and then collapse happily on my bed. I should take a photo of this room for the daily photo simply because not many fellow college students realize how big our dorm rooms are.

See, I have one roomate and we both get our own rooms (with doors) and we share a bathroom and shower, kitchen with a full-sized fridge, microwave, sink, tabel and chairs.

So that right there is better then most dorm rooms. But when it comes to our rooms...we get a queen-size bed, a mini-tv, cable, free local phone with call-display. I huge dresser and desk, bookshelf that fits the TV, a closet area complete with rack and so much floor space that I can actually set up two DDR mats if I wanted to.

It's wonderful....

And there are big windows in the bedrooms, we control the heating, and there is housekeeping that comes every two weeks to clean the kitchen and bathroom areas ^____^

We're spoiled, I know. But I'm happy here, and i feel safe here and it's my space.

Saw my new roomate briefly, but I think she's now out getting food. She seems friendly enough...

Ah well.

I'm back where I belong. Nothing could be better.

*snuggles* I'm all kinds of glad for you. Jealous of your room, but glad for you. ^^ I'm going back up to my college tomorrow and so looking forward to my soft (but tiny) bed and lovely snuggly sheets. Mmmmm.

i've gone to six different colleges and none of them had a set-up like that. that's pretty spifftastic.

We're spoiled, but they rent this place out as a hotel during the summer, thus the reason we have such nice rooms ^____^

And it's only $5400 for the whole school year, which is really, really nice when you take into account everything we get and it being right on campus (we don't have to go outside if we don't want to ^__^)

Tis a college love, but yeah, it's paradise, especially since it's an Arts College that specializes in Animation. Wonderful Rez, amazing programs and an absolutely insane bunch of staff and students!

Sounds amazing... I'd be jealous, but I'm just happy that you've got a place that you can enjoy and feel safe at. Good luck with the new semester!
