lucoMoved back into school and all is well again ^____^ It didn't take long for me to unpack and then collapse happily on my bed. I should take a photo of this room for the daily photo simply because not many fellow college students realize how big our dorm rooms are.
See, I have one roomate and we both get our own rooms (with doors) and we share a bathroom and shower, kitchen with a full-sized fridge, microwave, sink, tabel and chairs.
So that right there is better then most dorm rooms. But when it comes to our rooms...we get a queen-size bed, a mini-tv, cable, free local phone with call-display. I huge dresser and desk, bookshelf that fits the TV, a closet area complete with rack and so much floor space that I can actually set up two DDR mats if I wanted to.
It's wonderful....
And there are big windows in the bedrooms, we control the heating, and there is housekeeping that comes every two weeks to clean the kitchen and bathroom areas ^____^
We're spoiled, I know. But I'm happy here, and i feel safe here and it's my space.
Saw my new roomate briefly, but I think she's now out getting food. She seems friendly enough...
Ah well.
I'm back where I belong. Nothing could be better.
