So I have finally completed the next page. And I have to ask....was anyone expecting this for the marimo?

Oh and [livejournal.com profile] _paperpencil? My apology will be in the next page ^____^

Oh, Sanji, you are about to be so very, very disappointed ^___^; (I can't wait)

...Unless it's one of those weird prophecies which actually come true despite being not at all what people expect, and Zoro is really there to- anyway, I'll stop speculating, but consider me very interested ^_^

Gorgeous art, as always, especially Sanji staring up at the surface dreamily (and lol, you gave the Seaburger a family...Mama Seaburger looks like one tough lady, Chopper may not want to mess with her)

That he will be ^___^ And Chopper can hold his own when it comes to lunch! the next page will decide the winner and will be the last we see of the seaburger family!

Glad I've got people interested.

... baby seaburgers. *_* They're so cute, hiding there among the plants.

And, yeah, 'healer' is definitely not what I expected, but I can't wait find out how it fits. ^^

I wonder what Zoro could think if he actually met one of my little 'marimos'?

OMG, ROTFL. Bitty seaburgers! Mistaken identity Zoro! *cackles* Distracted Sanji! Man, is he in for a surprise. Ouch. My sides hurt from laughing so much. Luco, you just brightened my day. Thank you.

Much fondness of your icon, btw.

Wow. No one expected it at all ^____^ I feel so proud....

And yes Sanji is in for quite the suprise...

From: [identity profile] vampire-otaku.livejournal.com
Oh my... I can't wait to see Sanji's reaction when he finally meets up with the 'marimo'. X3 And I see that you couldn't really kill the cute little seaburger off, ne?

My favorite part of this page would have to be Chopper and Momma Seaburger in the last panel. He looks like he is trying so hard to steal back his lunch, but the lady isn't standing for that. So cute!

Oh! Before I forget, your art will be in the mail tommorrow...

Now, yes, cheer Chopper on!

Aw, Sanji looks so wistful in all three panels. And that is one fierce looking Lady Seaburger...

Wow, by the shocked face Sanji made int he last page, I thought a Marimo was something veeery bad ^^"

I just hope Sanji doesn't expect too much of Zoro and get totally crushed afterwards ^^"

But the Marimo is sooo adorable!! I've never seen any fluff ball looks that cute ^.^
And aren't Marimos consideres natural treasure and are supposed to have healing powers or something in Japan?

Date: 2007-01-29 08:01 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] luco-millian.livejournal.com
Yup, they're natural treasures in Japan! Which is what makes it so much fun! And Sanji is ,sadly, doomed to disappointment....

unexpected

Oh! Guess what I got in the mail today!

A marimo ^___^ It's one in a little tiny corkbottle that I'm assuming is for a phone but I put it on a chain ^___^

No clue who sent it to me though ;___;

And you can't smack what you can't catch!

OMG! I certainly haven't seen THAT coming! I know that Marimo is considered as a national treasure in Japan, but, but the idea of cute, fluffy ball of Marimo-Zoro?! LOL. O je, Sanji, you're doomed to be very, very disappointed.

Brilliant Luco! Brilliant!

ha, you got that from the webpage about marimo in a bottle, i'm assuming? :) "makes your dreams come true!" heehee...

very, very nice page. i LOVe mama seaburger's expressions. and the little kids behind her. it's great when there's two things going on at once in comics.

Yup! That webpage inspired me and just like that i was able to bring the two of them together!

It is fun haveing two things going on at once, but can sometimes be hard to draw...

Oooh, pretty! And I find myself realizing that this is probably the first time I've commented on these, but I'm loving the story and the art.

And the seaburger theme reminds me of a scene from Avatar: The Last Airbender where Sokka goes hunting and says to this cute little animal, "You know, you're awfully cute. But, unfortunately for you, you're made out of meat." Fortunately for the cute animal, it turns out to be a saber-tooth mooselion cub and mama saber-tooth mooselion is very protective.

One day though >_>;

It is amazing. It's the only other American-made cartoon for kids aside from Gargoyles to have plot arcs, at least that I can remember. And it has secret police. brainwashing, a really well-done blind character, bending forms based off of real martial arts (which makes for some *awesome* fight sequences), bad guys who aren't exactly bad and good guys who aren't really all that good, and a rather unflinching look at war that admits people do get hurt/maimed/killed and those people are sometimes mothers and children and parents who never planned on fighting and that those faceless soldiers are people no matter which side they're fighting on. It can make you laugh and cry. (And you can download it for free if you know where to look. *shifty eyes*)

It's nearly as good as One Piece.

Ahahaha oh Sanji, you are in for a rude awakening XD XD XD Love the eyelashes on the marimo too XD And yay for the Seaburger family! XD They're so adorable and such cracky-fun :D :D :D Mrs Seaburger's gonna lay the smack-down on you, Chopper, better watch out! XD

So much love for you and this ♥ SO MUCH ♥♥♥

Splah!

...Yes, that is the exact noise I made when I read this page. It was closely followed by insane giggling, because Sanji is in for one hell of a rude wake up call over that particular day dream. XD Also, love random sea creature's wife stealing him back.
