*laughs*
About a month ago, a girl asked to draw my hands for one of her class assignments. I told her she shouldn't, but she said my hands looked cool and wanted to anyways. I sighed and let her.
I got an email this morning from her asking me to take a picture or two of my hand to send to her teacher since he was saying the hands she drew were anatomically incorrect. I knew that would happen. Why? Well,

See, in the first picture you can see how the end joint curls up. That's my hand basically at rest. I'm not forcing it. I actually cannot get my fingers straight. They took x-rays and it was amusing to see the doctors reactions when they saw them. Their theory is that my fingers were broken while I was still inside mom. I dunno. They make it a pain to type, pick things up and such, but I like them ^_____^
And if you look at both pictures you can see that all the joints are swelled up quite a bit. I have very bony hands for someone my age and although I have alot of muscle everywhere else on me, there is suprisingly little on my hands. You can feel more bone in my palm then fat and the top of my hand is even worse. As is my wrist. I should have got a picture from farther away so you could compare it my arm but ah well...it's the first picture that i really like.
But all of that has made them very flexiable, very strong and agile and has helped me quite a bit when it comes to art. The only thing that annoys me is that I cannot use my own hands as refrence as the girl found out since they aren't natural.
I wonder what her teacher's reaction will be when he sees the photos. Because I saw her drawings when she was done and they were very accurate, for me ^___^
Oh and uh, don't mind the bruising. I get that when I draw for long periods of time.
I know all that was random and pointless but I wanted to share it because I thought it was cool and I needed a break from what I've been doing most of the day, which hopefully you'll be able to see in a few hours. I'll give you a hint of what it's about.
It involves tentacles ^_____^
That is all.
LOVES!
