I'm not sure if you deliberately left it out or something, but what happened to the sword in Zoro's mouth? It seems like it disappeared after Sanji dumped him on the railing?

..Okay, I'm calm now. Beautiful and wonderfully intriguing end to a bloody cracking first chapter! Everyone is so perfectly established, and then you have that tease of a last panel, and I cannot stop laughing at Zoro just being left bent over the railing (and still holding his swords in a deathgrip) and Sanji looks so perfectly heroic in that first picture. So very much love, as always.

I had to place Delmar over the couch so that I could actually draw how Zoro would hang. But it amused me to put him there. Sanji doesn't want to show that he cares too much . . .

But I'm very pleased the first Chapter went over so well. And that people seem pleased with Robin's appearance. . .

No matter how much I tried to see it from different angles... Zoro's ability to wield his sword proudly in the water was very astounding, very exceptional. And how can you make Sanji climbed up all those ropes with only his pretty tail?!

The shading is gorgeous, as usual.

P.S. Do we get a splash page for the beginning of each chapter? :D

There will be a splash page and Zoro...well, I think he kinda forgot he was in water and therefore forgot all the rules that apply to a person in water so yeah......

Lol, 'I don't need your corpse stinking up the water' - suuuuuuuure, Sanji, sure, we buy that ^__^ The expressions, as usual, are great. I particularly like Sanji's face in the first panel. And I love the circular 'spyglass' view of the before-last panel, it makes the page that more dynamic. And the water splash is lovely.


Oooh, is that Robin??? Well, feel better soon, and hopefully you'll get the yearning to work on....CHAPTER 2!! ^__^

Ehhehheh, love how Zoro keeps his deathgrip on his swords, even dangling over a railing. ^^ And I really like the angle of the frame where Sanji is diving-- very fun lines, especially the shoulder fins.

Zoro in the second panel makes me chuckle when ever I look at him...all flopped over unceremoniously, and unconsciously, yet still gripping on to his swords with all of his being!

and...Robin??? Yay! I wonder where she is right now...not on the boat 'cause the little dude in the coat said it was just him and Zoro...and she's far enough away that she needs a telescope. (which was a very cool looking panel by the way!)

Hmmm, now I'll be poundering over this for awhile.

Oo.... I keep my eye on your works very close. I love your comic. The plot is wonderful too. You did a wonderful job with drawing Sanji, Zoro, and other stuffs. They look so real, as if they are popping out of the comic! Keep it up! ^_^ I love your drawing style.

where's wadou in the second panel? ^_^ poor zoro. just wanted to kick some ass and passed out from the cold. he'll be so embarassed. though he swam in the icy rivers of drum island alright...i know, i know, it's an AU! *smacks self* anyway, i really like this page. for some reason i'm especially fond of the panel through the view of the spyglass. the water, and the way the tones are muted--very nice effects! also like robin's wasp-waist, and the interesting, foreshortened perspective of sanji diving. yay for the end of chapter 1! huzzah for new chapters! of course we're still interested. this is one of the coolest things in the universe.
