Well, this has already been an interesting and entertaining day!
Woke up to silence (which was lovely) and simply sat there for a minute and enjoyed it. Then, I took the time to properly pamper myself (with cleaning, exfoliation and lotions!) and then sat downstairs with the cats and a pot of coffee.
Then there was a knock at the door, which turned out to be Rob! He's a good friend, but one I hardly ever see because he lives a few cities away and works too damn much! But, he took time out of his busy schedule to come by and kidnap me ^___^ It seems he follows me on LJ and DA (Hi Rob!!!) and knew how much I enjoyed Tron and so, he dragged me over to Walmart and got me the collector's edition that came with a little diecast Lightcycle!! (plays with it) So I has Tron dvd and Blu-Ray!!
We then went out for coffee before he had to leave because work was going frantic looking for him. Back home, I checked the mail and had to go back out to pick up a package.
It was a book.
A very lovely book sent by the most lovely and charming
beckyh2112 ((at least I'm pretty sure that is who sent it >>;;)) that deals with the anatomy of Martial Arts. You know what that means?
I CAN DRAW BETTER FIGHT SCENES!!!!!
*bounces* It's SOOOO very very lovely!! Because it explains the different moves, shows me the anatomy and tells me which muscles are used, which hold tension and which aren't and THEN on top of that, it explains the different exercises and stretches that help make the move better so that I can do the exercise and feel for myself where the strain and tension is! And it tells me the usual speed, power and accuracy one can expect from the move!!
And it shows male and female models so I can see the different points of balance!
So all in all I am most happy and although I want to jump right into drawing, I think some cleaning should come first. So I'm going to get changed into some grungy clothes, put on Tron and clean the living room and kitchen!!
Then there will be art.
...
I know such awesome people!!
