What a night!
Nov. 1st, 2011 01:03 pmOkay Pumpkin pictures as promised! They suck because the only working camera in the house was my phone >>;
I really need to save up for a good one.
Moving on though....we decided to carve, Kubey, Phineas, Ferb and Agent P and oh man am I glad we did! Even before I heard a knock or the doorbell I could hear "OMG IT"S PHINEAS AND FERB AND LOOK THERE'S PERRY!!" At the top of their lungs ((both little kids AND a LOT of teenagers!!)) I also heard through the door "I sooo have to compliment them on having good taste!" And people were actually taking out their phones to take photos! I didn't think they were that good....
But I had a blast with them ^___^
And it was really cool to see that it was a lot of 'classic' costumes and quite a few good home-made ones!
Also, they were all really polite! I had teenagers wait at the bottom of the stairs so that little kids could come up first, and they would help them down the steps. I heard quite a few thank yous. Many older siblings looked happy to be helping out the younger ones by carrying the bags and keeping them safe from the 'scary' decorations and one little brother even came up first and and told me his sister had a peanut allergy and it was only till I said I did as well and that it was all safe that he ran back and walked her up to get candy,
It was all so damn cute! And fun! Not as many kids as normal since it was freezing cold, but, I truly enjoyed it! Oh! And I ended up handing out some business cards to people who wanted to see more of what I could do art-wise ^^;
And I was told I wear a corset very well ^____^
So, here are the pumpkins! Again, sorry about the quality of the photos. Hope everyone else had an awesome evening!!
( And I did not allow Kubey to make any contracts in exchange for more candy )
