Over the Self-Pity

It took me the whole weekend to finally go out and buy a new sketchpad and start draewing again. But, I was sketching this morning and so it seems I'll be back on track.

I will be honest though. Yesterday I was ready to quit drawing, give it up all togather, but than i realized how miserable I felt not drawing!

So, I'm starting over (since it's the only thing I can do) and keeping my studio locked.

. . .

There will probably be some art this evening if scanner and me co-operate. . .

*sigh of relief* Good to know you're all right. And still drawing!

You know, everything that went into those notebooks... it's still inside you. So, starting over, yes, but not without all those things. All the experience and effort that let you draw each one... it's still there.

And at least...since I'm in the habit of freely sharing my work there are many people out there who have offered to send me copies of the work that I showed them and they saved.

So, some of the pieces are saved, but as you said, they are still inside and I do ahve a chance to bring them to life again.
