So, I shall start with these four!

Sanji is part of the Host Club. How he originally joined is unknown and he's not saying anything. Kyoya wants to keep him there because his cooking brings in new customers and cuts down on the cost of catering.
He is the adopted son of the President of the largest Resturant chain in 7 countries, but although he is the only child, he has still not been named Heir to the buisness. No heir has been named though.
Sanji also will not go against the wishes of Miss. Nami who attends Lobelia High. It is she who tells him to stay in the Host Club when he was designated as Zoro's host by Tamaki who got the request from his 'princesses'.
And although Sanji is also a skilled fighter, he does not let anyone know about it fearing it might ruin his image as a 'gentleman'.

Zoro was adopted into a small, but honorable Noble House after their daughter died. Zoro had been close with her and since he had no one else, they decided to keep him close to honor her memory. What he doesn't know is that the one paying for his tuition to Ouran high is none other then Mihawk, who sees potential in Zoro and is thinking about naming Zoro his successor.

Zoro first wandered into the Host Club by accident (he got lost) and the first person he met was Sanji. They promptly fought and Zoro was going to wash his hands clean of the idiot when he noticed that Sanji took a fighter's stance and that he could match his strength in the brief struggle they had. Now curious (although he won't admit) he keeps coming back to the Host Club.

A commoner who lives beside Haruhi, Usopp discovered that the one he loved, Miss Kaya, attended Ouran high and he talked his way into the school, convincing them that he as of Royal Blood. He somehow also talked them into paying for his uniform and schooling as a sign of respect to his family.

He soon becomes good friends with the heir of the 'D' Legacy Luffy, and together they cause much chaos. And through that chaos Kaya learns of his presence at the school and would like him as her host. The Club learns of this and takes in Usopp and trains him to be a Host after which Kaya completely reserves all his time because she doesn't want to share him with other females. their presence as a couple still makes the other ladies swoon with romantic thoughts and thus, it's also deemed good for buisness.

Usopp and Haruhi's fathers are friends...but that is another story.

Luffy is the Heir to the 'D' family. No one truly knows what the family is responsible for, but all agree that they are one of the top-ranking Names in the Country. Luffy's father is hardly ever around and thus he was placed under the care of a Guardian, Shanks, who filled his head with stories of Pirates and treasure. He left when Luffy was old enough to attend Middle School, giving him his straw hat as a sign of the bond between them.

Luffy's older brother Ace, was taken in by another family and many rumors about them are spreading, but the two brother's don't seem to mind. They get to see each other, they're both happy and that is all that seems to matter...
