Adventures!
Feb. 22nd, 2008 10:00 amSo, I've been very unmotivated the past few days (weeks actually) and thus no artwork. No homework done either, but I've talked to the teachers already about that. . .
But, yesterday, the day before and today, I've actually started to get more energy and finally want to get out of bed and play! I think I have the lunar eclipse to blame since that's when our adventures began, but there was a big birthday party before that and...
meh.
I'll just show you a bunch of

So yes, there are 4 birthdays in Feb. An Michelle (my First Mate) decided that since my b-day was in august and no one ever get to celebrate, they would celebrate my half birthday which just so happened to be this month. She bought me a beautiful dolphin bracelet which I will have to show you guys at another time. . .

And here she is, but her picture is getting interrupted by Jack (which is also her fault since she also likes to encourage my pirate obsession...there is a reason why she is my First Mate ^__^)

And there is me looking drunk....and damn I have huge hips!

Now we begin the Lunar eclipse. This is what the moon looked like at around 8:30 while we were all standing outside on a ledge and howling at it. Seriously.

But it was cold and so we went inside and began the hunt to find a good spot to watch it from. This was the top floor of one building and although it had this cool little lounge corner, no good view.

But we found creepy halls, with doors with no handles...

And lots of weird beepy lights...and too many different staircases leading into dank and dark basements and a medical lab that made me shiver....

And after a quick check on the moon's progress....

We headed upwards in the tallest building in our school and I found a ladder, whose first rung came up about my waist. . .

So of course I climbed it and tried to get on the roof, didn't happen but I was so proud that I could pull myself up! It means my ribs are healing!! For those of you who didn't know. Around late August last year, I tore the cartilage between ribs and sternum and well, it's a painful and long healing injury. . .but, I can pull my own body wait up again and I'm happy!

Back to the adventure...we finally found a place in the staircase where we could see the moon and wait.

But waiting is hardwork and my First Mate had the camera and I think she went a little weird. . .

She also tried to squish her captain's head, but I'll forgive her...this time.

Shortly after, the moon was only a deep red shadow in the sky and my camera failed at capturing it so please use your imagination. There was more exploring after that and then bed because we had been up early for a test, but, we have plans to go on another adventure at some point soon.

Oh yeah, I also built a snow bunny, isn't he cute??

And the huge guillotine paper cutter in the pit has had this face on it for as long as I can remember and I always thought it was cute and so you get a picture of it as well!

And yes, this is what you see when you walk into my dorm room now! Isn't it cool?! I loves it ^___^ And it only cost $1 and is so soft and flowy and *happy sigh*
So, I shall now end this and let you get on with your day. Hopefully I'll have something pretty to show you guys soon.
