Critters!!

So Maile and Aster.....just in case these two don't make the plane ride I figured I'd better show you pictures of your two (not so little) critters...







He has two veeeeery long tentacles so that he can truly wrap around anyone a few times over!



How can you resist those eyes?





And this one. Not bad for my first big plushie attempt and making up my own pattern ^__^









And flat feet so that he will sit nice and flat and be squishable and floppy! The floppiness also allows one to curve him around their body.


Both are made from Microplush so everyone here just goes by and pets them. The cats are a little jealous >_>;

And I have learned a lot from the chocobo so the next one that I am going to make will be better, although Maile's will always be my baby cause it was my first...

And, my dad is picking me up tonight. I do a bit of running around tommorrow in Toronto and then catch a plane early Saturday morning and then am under Maile's care until the convention! It's going to be a very interesting week. Will probably go back through emails and comments once I'm in Toronto tonight and make sure I get caught up to date before I leave. But now, to try and pack my stuff as well as those two critters into one suitcase. Delmar is grateful he gets to come in the carry-on.

So Chico is good enough? I was a little worried because he doesn't exactly match the picture, but I tried to get him close and yes...Squiggles drapes over EVERYTHING and has tentacles that can wrap around your body twice over X__x

AAAAAAAAAAW! Oh man, they are so adorable! Chico is HUGE. Were you thinking of bringing them on the plane? o_O I can't imagine Chico being anything but a checked bag all on his own. And they've started REALLY charging for extra bags.... I just don't want you to get hit with more baggage fees than it would have been to just ship them here. ^_^

Chico can just squiswh into my big suitcase with my prints and Squiggles is joing Delmar in the carry-on. It is a very good thing that I don't own many clothes ^^;

But I can't wait to give Squiggles to you! Although, at the same time, it will be sad to part with them ;__;

I guess they are pretty squishy, but still! :) I uh...will be very amused to see the look on the x-ray guy's face when you send your suitcase through and it's....filled with squishy chocobo. :)

I'm so excited to see him! Squishy tentacle monster! And I bid on a "fantastic animal of your choice" plushie for the Live Long and Marry auction, and didn't win, but the maker said that if I wanted to foot the cost, she'd put me in the queue, so I asked for a plushie that was soft and squishy and had tentacles. So Squiggles will have a playmate! ^___^

Yup Squiggles in his full-pettable glory ^___^ I'll see if Aster will let me keep him at my table for a day so that you can see him in person. As for doll dorkery, the stuff I had wanted to pack had to get left behind because of the sheer size of the two plushies ;__; Even Delmar doesn't get to bring his wardrobe (and he's quite upset for that...and for sticking him in a carry-on suitcase witha giant friendly tentacle monster...)

So, it's probably easiest this time to just bring down your little robot and come say hi ^^; Sorry about that.

XD It's cool! Lassa has to weigh six pounds, plus his carrying case--it'll be a relief to just have Trill-Bot with me. I'll probably be down Friday, since I'll likely be doing stuff related to mettathron's birthday the rest of the weekend. ^_^
