Massive Update!

Okay, so when last I posted I was still in Washington getting ready to leave for Otakon, almost a month ago. I apologize for not commenting sooner then this but here is what has been happening this month:



So, we begin with the Thursday before Otakon, in which Vampy took me to a cute little coffee house to see live music all of which I adore muchly. On the Friday, there was much confusion with regards to where to go for Artist Alley which involved me walking up and down many flights of stairs but finally I managed to set up relax and begin the weekend which turned out to be even better then last year!

Highlights of the Con:

-meeting my good friends from last year
-meeting some of the Lj people (now Ij people) whose stuff I've always adored!
-chatting with all the Persona 3 people
-having an awesome table mate
-having my first ever coke slurpee/slushie which was immediately followed by fireworks (I'm serious!! There were fireworks just behind the convention center!)
-cosplaying as Aigis and being loved for it
-staying with Maile
-having 'phone monkey' look out for me
-seeing my Nami dress made *_____*
-and really, just tyhe whole thing was so very wonderful.

Only bad side was one minor stalker dude, but he was quickly taken care of and everything went well.

But going back to the Persona 3 people, I never did post the final version of the sketch I was working on here did I?

Well it turned out like this:



And I'm quite happy with it, but what was really REALLY awesome was the fact that on the Saturday, I'm chatting with a few customers and hear from somewhere off to my left "Hey, wanna try that?" I turn and look and do you know what I see?



I stopped and stared and my tablemate said there where hearts and sparkles appearing all around me. Needless to say, I gave them both a free bookmark and asked for them to pose again so that I could get a picture. ^___^

Very fun.

After the con, I got sick on the Monday due to restuarant food, but was fine by the evening and then early tuesday morning I had to fly back to Canada. I also don't think I mentioned that Squiggles startled everyone in the airport on the way into the US did I?

Well, he was in my carry-on suitcase with Delmar (which came to an extremely tight fit) and they had to search through it, so the security lady opened up the suitcase and tentacles came flying out everywhere! I didn't realize he was that tightly packed ^^;

But back on track. Came back to Canada to find out that there had been a massive explosion near where my dad lives and the place where I use to play as a child has been completely destroyed, my rent check (which I had to do on one of my dad's checks) hadn't been accepted by my landlord, so I had to get a money order and talk with them and then I also found out my school fees never got through so I had to go to the school get myself put back on the list and pay a late fee.

Then mom calls and wants me down that weekend, and dad will only take me up if he picks me up on the thursday so I get one night in my own bed and then it's off to mom's. It was a good visit and I got a few things for my room as a b-day present so yeah. Came back, painted my room, put up my shelves, cleaned and then collapsed.

Come Monday I had to start printing, cutting and cleaning for FanExpo that weekend and then there was my b-day on Wednesday (for which i just realize now that i got many posts and love and pirate porn and you guys are beyond awesome). We also had 5 extra people staying with for tyhe Con weekend and while we all got along well and they were all awesome, it's still a lot of work preparing for people, dealing with people and then cleaning up after people.

But now FanExpo highlights:

-again, seeing good friends
-being loved for being Aigis
-getting my P3 artbook signed by the VA's for Junpei, Takaya, Yuka-tan and there was one other....but it's slipped my mind.
-And Vic (Junpei's voice) was one awesome man who absolutely adored the fact that we were dressed as P3 characters (between me and my friends we had Aigis (in Minato's clothes) with Koro-chan (my b-day gift ^__^), Junpei, and Mitsuru. Vic wore Junpei's jacket and posed with the evoker (and his wife took pictures) and we all got a group shot with him. Very very cool.
-introduced to Code Geass and had Lelouch command people to do random things at my table...

And yeah...

Now, I have a job offer, so I have to do some ink test and mail them out and then going through my emails I realize that many people have still not received their notebooks and prints (which seriously pisses me off. I officially HATE the post office now) I'm going to re-mail them hopefully this weekend before school starts next week and anything after this I'm going to charge a bit extra for postage so that i can send stuff insured because this is getting ridiculous.

And that leaves me at today, where I've found out the yesterday my dad had a heart attack.

It looks like you had fun barring the disasters ^^ I had 7 essays and 3 midterms this month, so I still say yours was more fun.

I know you've been busy and this probably isn't the best place to ask this question, but I've sent you emails for the past 2.5 months and got no replies in return, so I'm going to try here:

I ordered 2 notebooks from you mid-June and they never showed up. I'm sure it was because you've been busy or my order got misplaced in the flood of orders or soemthing. But I'd still like to know if, maybe a little chance, I might get those items in the future ^^;;

But I saw your emails and have placed you on the re-mail list which will be sent out this week so i pray the stuff gets to you this time. I honestly don't know why i have such a difficult time with Canada Post, but I do apologize about the delay.
