Hey I got a hole in my head!
Well, two actually >_>;
Yup, I finally got my ears pierced again since I've always wanted second holes in each of my ears. Me and M went today and it was a lot of fun actually. She was a bit nervous, I wasn't because really, with all the face wounds I've recieved this was nothing, although, when I realized a gun was being pointed at my head I wanted to yell 'PERSONA!' but didn't...
In other news, I am indeed starting to feel better and have begun work on my two cosplays for Anime North.
The persona Hermes from P3 and Gokudera with skull cannon and Sistema C.A.I. Yes I am scuplting both the skull cannon and the boxes! And I am making Hermes wings right now as well.
Actually, if you guys wanted to see in progress pictures so that you can laugh at me and see how ugly things start off as, let me know.
I'm still doing the sketch requests, it's just well, mood dropped and I was waiting for it to get back up, thus the reason I switched to prop making instead of art. More physical is better sometimes...
Also, found a silver ring that I thought I had lost. It's a very special ring to me. Why? Because I made it! When mom started her goldsmithing/jeweller degree she bough two pieces of silver and took Lee and I into the studio at seperate times. She walked us through the hammering, sautering and polishing of our very own rings and although it looks a mess now because it hasn't been polished in over 10 years, it is still mine and I can honestly say I made it.
I've also flown a plane, crawled through an airduct and shot people from inside a moving vehicle. I have to say, for everything bad that has happened in my life, something awesome always comes to balance it out.
And I've rambled enough...
Oh one more thing! The face is finally healed shut. There is just a scar present and in another day or so it'll be cleared so that I can put the oil on it and try and lessen the scarring!
So yeah.

Date: 2009-03-10 03:25 am (UTC)I can't do cartilage, heard too many horror stories about pain about cartilage piercings. I don't like pain. And, with my job, I can't really get any more piercings (I've always wanted a small nose ring, but with my job, plus my oh so awful nasal allergies, I'll have to live with the fake ones I have...)
And, After having my multiple piercings for 10+ years, I decided to go 'all out' and went to the jewelry store. I have diamond studs in my second holes and last year, I bought a white gold hoop with diamond chips in it. I keep those in my ears 24/7, only taking them out every week or so to clean.
Good luck on the scar!!

Date: 2009-03-10 04:39 pm (UTC)It was a lot of fun, but I learned how difficult it is to shoot will moving and how you have to work with the driver and keep your arms stiff but your body fluid.
Very VERY fun!
We had the highest score because I am awesome.
