I think I've discovered something.

There is a difference in being good at drawing and having the talent for drawing.

I'm good at it...but I have no natural talent for it. Strange but true.....meh...

I need sleep.

:( I'm not an artist, so I've no reference from which to argue either way, really, but I do know that _I_ like your work, and that's all I can say. :)

:hugs: :rubs shoulders: :sends Yuber and Albert in to deliver chocolate and pounce each other for your entertainment:

*Enjoys the pouncing while eating chocolate*

As long as people are happy with what I draw than all is good.

*blinks* Could have fooled me.

Hm. What is the difference, though? That talent comes more easily? But there are a lot of other factors that can make an activity come more or less easily. You give so much of yourself, of your spirit, to your art that I have trouble believing that it's just a matter of steady application for you. Obviously, you have steady application, or you wouldn't be this polished. But it seems to me that you have the "spark", too.

Mom was the one who told me I had no talent. My brother does, but he hasn't done anything with till recently and already he's really good.

Having the talent means it comes naturally and improves the same way.

not having the talent means you have to continually work at it, knwoing that others will surpass you easily simply because it's their gift.

It's the reason I stopped writing.

I think I'd have to say I disagree. As an artist myself I find you to have much talent. It may be untapped, it may be unseen by some eyes but I believe it to be true.

Besides even those with talent have to work on their skill.
