Anime North 2009
May. 28th, 2009 08:55 amSo, it was a good weekend even though it is taking me longer then normal to recover. I still don't have my voice back fully, but at least you can kinda understand what I'm saying now.
And I'm still tired.
I'm not going to bother with photos just at this moment because that means I have to go through them and choose and then resize etc. And I admit, I'm lazy right now.
But, it was a very good weekend indeed.
I met up with quite a few very good friends, said hello to a lot of people from LJ, hung out with a lot of Reborn and One Piece fans and made quite a few fangirls happy by flirting with my friend who was dressed as Yamamoto. That I admit was amusing...
Sales-wise, it was a decent weekend, and quite a few people complimented my art which always makes me happy.
Costume-wise...I am proud of the gloves I made for our Tsuna, the Hibird I made for our Hibari and my Skull Cannon! (even though the back of my hand is bruised. I'll try to get good pictures of all three to show you. I am annoyed that all the walking outside turned my hair gold and that I got sunburnt but other then that, all turned out decent.
The staff in artist alley was also a lot more friendly this year, which probably means there was less stressful things for them to deal with which is good for everyone and made everything more enjoyable.
I didn't really do much besides stand behind my table so not much to talk about at this time. When I'm actually more awake I may go into a bit more detail about certain things, but right now, I would probably sound like an idiot.
So instead, I will end this now, and put up the sales post as promised and then get to work on art.
...
Well, maybe another nap because yes, I am very tired and I seriously do not know why.
