Stupid Rain...

It has not stopped storming since I got home. There is a bit of sunlight followed by hours of rain and then thunder and yeah. I miss my sun ;__;

This is so awesome~

So this afternoon, I've been hanging up the art that I bought at Otakon (pics of my room will come a little later). And I've been wondering to myself..."Why did I not buy more art from luco?" So before you send me the BB print that I already bought, I'll probably buy another load of prints and send you the money through PayPal. ^__^

Her clothes wove themselves onto her, silk threads flying from her sewing basket and enclosing her slim body in shimmering weave. This art of dressing oneself was a hassle, but at least she sidestepped the issue of damaging her wings. For a moment, she became distracted by an entering butterfly messenger - and the silk scraps hung in midair, precariously close to dissolving back into meaningless strands. But she quickly read the message and dispatched the butterfly with a reply. Then, with a flick of her fingers and the focus of her will, her outfit for the journey ahead was finished. She teased out a last tangle in the skirt before sitting down to put on makeup and jewels.

She applied her lip-color carefully, knowing the paste of rose petals and tree sap was not to be wasted. When she put on her necklaces and ornaments, the river pebbles turned to sapphires and pink opals - they shone from the touch of her fingers rather than the light. The last check in the mirror was unnecessary but customary, and she was satisfied with her appearance. She grabbed her gloves, putting them on as she tripped down the steps – and then she was ready.
