Fishy! I love how different they all are, the blue and red one is my favorite, though the one with the smile is so cute and they'e all so pretty. I'm curious about the light orb she's holding. I really love her back fins and the way they cure over her head. This is a really great thing to wake up to!

It's a very fun but HARD colouring style! I wanna attempt a dragon with it because it's a really cool way to get scale-like texture.

Ok, so I just read the ending again myself, and I suppose it isn't that sad. But the air spirit thing seems so cheap. >__> The moment I like most of all is when the little mermaid has the knife in her hand and is debating whether to kill her prince or not. In one of the versions of this I read, it stopped when the little mermaid dissolved into sea foam, and I think I liked that best.

It's gorgeous! I love the fin/kelp-y mohawk-y thing the merlady has going on! And the contrast between the opaque coloring style on the waves and the more vivid/clear style on the fish and the merlady really makes this pop!
