lucoSo, a lot has happened. And a lot of it has been REALLY BAD. But, I'm alive, managing and figured that life has gone through the lowest it can go at this point and has to go up now.
And i will hold to that.
But for now, instead of an update about me, you get what I've been playing with. This is the first in a series of Avatar Fan-comics I wanna do and the only one you'll get in whole for two reasons: one, because I wanna see if I got the feel right and what you people think and two, well simply because I'm not sure what I want to do with them yet.
So here:
Oh and it has a G rating.
Too me, it's amusing to see how I change and slightly improve over the span of just 10 pages... Or maybe I'm the only one who sees it...

it seems the subtle art change is most noticeable between the pages of 'splash' and 'happy now?'. to me it looks like you got a better handle on the faces and stuff.
second to last one, "no, that's because you tried to get out,' sokka's chest looks.... kind of deformed : x. as for the rest, many thumbs up. also i'm still chuckling over here. X D D.

People don't really use Appa in fanworks, I am HIGHLY pleased and amused to see someone doing it and doing it in such a fun way. Really, this whole thing is just nothing but panels and panels of wonderfully silly fun.

I think my fave panels are the "You really have to stop doing that" and Appa's wibble face... or well, wibble eye since that's about all you can see. woo 10 ton flying monster! XD Also Appa's ♥!! face. Bloody adorable. And shirtless Zuko. mmmmmm shirtless-Zuko. And Sokka. mmm

Also, your art style is like WOW. I love how you manage to make Aang and Toph look young and cute, and make Zuko and Sokka look deliciously teenage male. I really liked Sokka leaning on the frame towards the end, and the whole thing strikes this awesome balance between cartoony and comic book. I dig, hardcore.

Date: 2009-10-15 07:58 pm (UTC)I think the backgrounds are my favorite, they all look really bright and amazing. I love the Appa/Zuko interaction too, especially the glomping (I'd be so terrified if I were Zuko) and the bottom half of page 02. Zuko's pose is really good.
I loled at the gratuitous Zuko fanservice.
