I was a good girl and worked on commissions yesterday! One of them got completed and I was given permission to post it so I thought I'd share since I REALLY like how it turned out!
Man, I love the pose. And is that scarring all over his torso? Looks like a sly one - lots of personality. :) Fantastic pic *Impulsively clicks link to go read more*
I think I really like painting scars. Probably because they add so much character and well, all I have to do for reference is look down at my own arms ^^
Coloring, shadows, depth - all are great. It looks like he could have sauntered out of the show's character design bible. The anatomy looked familiar to me without really knowing why but I'm bad with that in general. Now that I peeked at the OC's back story the familial resemblance is strong on um... both sides of the equation.
Thank you, hon~ ♥ He really does look absolutely gorgeous~ It's just perfect! ♥
And, yeah, the chain was put there by his wife. Kind of a wedding ring kind of thing. And also in an attempt to stop him from trying to impersonate his brother... XD
Guh. I... that...his expression is absolutely stunning. *melts* The whole thing is gorgeous and sexy and mmm those scars look yummy. The sense of light is beautifully done.
*still staring at his face* You? Are awesome squared.
Hello! Mondai's been jumping up and down about this for a couple of days, and I'm so glad I finally got the chance to look at it! You did really great, this is just how I always imagined him. Like others have said, his scars and expression are amazing--I almost get lost in his eyes... ^^; Also, background win. I dunno if Mondai gave you specific instructions, but I get the feeling that you just really knew how to portray this character. ^^~♥
