Good Start!

So with everything that has been happening, I woke up this morning NOT wanting to get out of bed. I almost didn't answer the phone when it rang earlier, but I am so very glad I did.

It was a call from the Hospital dad is at. Every month the nurses and doctors collect all their change from coffee runs and such. They then donate that money to one of their patients/family that is going through a bit of a rough time. This month they chose me.

So the same doctor who gave me back my laptop dropped by this morning with just under $100 for me. I signed to say yes I go it and couldn't stop smiling.

And then, shortly after he left, a friend from school called and told me to get my ass over to the school. So I went and was fed breakfast. He and a few others who knew in my first years at school had heard that I was having a rough time and thought to treat me. And well, they all know how to cook.

So I've been fed and have enough money to live off of until I get paypal and my new bank account sorted out. So things have gone from hopeless to tough-but-manageable. And I have 10 filled commission slots so I just need to get those done and take on more and keep at it!

I will make this work.

I just wanted to share this so others can have a little more hope in this world and to let you all know that the well-wishes you're sending this way are working. Thanks for being there for me. All of your guys are amazing!

((and I might actually get to keep Cloud!! But if not, then at least I know he'll go to someone who will give him a very good home!))
