Damn, you guys are an interesting bunch and have such a way with words....

So, right now, I've kinda finished my goals for the morning and am switching back to digital art since my adventures in the snow have left my arm a little too shaky to do fine pencil work. But I still wanna draw, and yet, I am coming up blank so...

Give me prompts! Not just a character or a pairing, but an actual prompt as well! can't guarantee what will get done and what won't, but feel free to ask!

Heh. Working out what you want is the important part, since they're ideally going to be there forever. (Which is why I want a heraldic phoenix holding a scroll with 'real life is not for the faint of heart' on it. Now just to get it designed.)

Mine would probably involves dragons because they have held my attention and fascination since forever and the love for them has never faded...

And I would not go near brands. Was nearly caught in a forest fire and have been burned by cigarettes. I adore fire, love looking at it and drawing it, think it's beautiful to have near, but, you won't catch me going to close or using matches or lighters...

Someday I will. Decided to make "get a tattoo" a reward for my first novel sale.

I, on the other hand, have pain-related issues that come down to "giving into pain is for wusses". Oh, ballet, you totally warped me for life.

That's a good idea. I honestly need to start making myself goals...

I've never really done anything athletic, always feared for my hands and well, i have more flexibility then muscle to support it so I get injured way too easily >>;

Goals are nice, as long as they don't make you feel too pressured to work. Then they are failing at their job and you should ditch them.

Took ballet for nine years, during elementary and middle school. Got up to learning some serious en pointe stuff before I stupidly quit in high school. Damaged my ankles (would sprain one or the other ever year or so) and warped my pain-responses; en pointe hurts and you just have to deal with that when you're dancing it.

I think I need to take more time for myself and really decide what I want to do before I make any goals. Right now, they would confine me.

That would be awesome!!! It's funny how often that reaction happens. I remember at school sitting in the lobby with another animation student and we saw a naked black guy walk by. We didn't question it we just looked and discussed how nicely the muscles in his back were and the nice lines his figure cut before going back to our original conversation. It took us a few minutes to realize this wasn't normal.

Life drawing has ruined me for life ^^

I just loved it when the business and computer students wandered through our section and saw the models walking around just in bath robes or else all dressed up in costumes and I learned pretty quickly to avoid them bathing area that belonged to the drama students....unless I wanted a different set of models to draw...

Hee! *grins* I don't remember the art section of my school being nearly so interesting, but I only tended to wander near the art history sections. Never got into any studio classes.
