Finally, I think I'm back on track artistically...

And the proof is here!




I really like how she turned out. Although, at first, it wasn't going well. The background wasn't working, the colours weren't meshing and I was just getting frustrated, so, I scrapped it all, walked away and had my recharge day and then, well the results are above.

But if you're curious to see which direction I started her in, well here:



Just a bit of a difference, right?

And now, I think I'm ready to work on my commissions again now that I have some confidence back. And then, well March is sketched, so I'll work on her as a break between other projects.

Oh that's beautiful! I love the golden glow of the butterflies, it creates such a soothing mood. The whole color scheme is reminiscent of sunset on a warm summer or autumn evening, it's lovely.

It's so lovely! I'm always very impressed by your lighting effects. It seems like you put a lot of thought into them and they always work so well. With the translucency of the wings, the light effects in the finished project are particularly stunning.
