Tired....

Went to a wedding yesterday. It was two people I have known since High School so it was quite awesome to see them so happy together and there was the added bonus of knowing most everyone at the wedding.

It felt like High School Prom all over again, but much more enjoyable. When I get the photos I will share since I was in a pretty dress and being silly with friends.

But there were some very sad reminders that came out of the night.

I just realized, that if I ever get married, my father will no longer be able to walk me down the aisle and the rate my mother's health is going, she might not be around to ever see it either. But, I do know that whatever happens, I will be surrounded by good friends, and really, that's all I should ever ask for.

At least mom got home in time to see me get dressed up all pretty. It made her smile which she hasn't been doing much since well, her health and...we all just realized that rent, groceries, insurance, hydro and electricity is all up to me this month, since she can't work and Lee's social disorder has made him unable to work.

*sigh*

So, I've updated the sales post and have been going through some of the statues I have and seeing which ones are in sellable condition. I'll let you guys have first pick of them before they go up on ebay or somewhere because I'd always prefer to know where they're going.

That list will probably be up sometime tonight. And those who did not get there orders previously, let me know and I can re-ship them with any new orders.

Otherwise, I'm just going to take a few days to do some silly happy sketches just for myself before I have to sit down and be serious.

But you know what?

One day I'm going to be known around the world. I will be famous and have money to spare and will be able to spoil all my family and friends whenever and however much I want to.

It will happen.

Because I said so.

I found a new sugar cookie recipe that isn't as sweet but uses cinnamon in the dough. And then of course they get colored-sugar-coated. ♥ Does that sound yummy to you? Because the recipe's still in beta and I need taste testers, of course....
