Just a little off

Finished that pic I was talking about! You know the one that is just slightly creepy? It's a One Piece fanart of Trafalgar Law and Bepo and well....hmmmm.




I mean, Law seems to me to be...broken I guess is the best word. There is something off and more to him then one would first think. And, I just think that Bepo is a quite support system. I don't know why, it's just first impression type thing, but I can see him as the one to clean Law off and pick him back up.

But besides that, I love how the shading and background turned out in this pic. The whole time I was working on it I was smiling. In the end I did take out the severed limbs because they just got in the way and I think it's better with just the blood.

There is so much that's beautiful to this piece. your drawing - as usual, but the background and coloring as you pointed out as well. I adore the muted nighttime colors of the background. And your shading, I wish I knew how you did it, it always looks so full and rich, like everything can actually be touched. Gorgeous!

This is a favourite of mine right now. Actually....probably THE favoruite because of the colours in it. I tried just using the marker tool in SAI and although it took a while to get use to well, you can see the results.

It's like using a hard brush for everything, very little soft shading so you get more impact from the colours cause they stand alone instead of blend ((if that makes any sense ^^;))

I want to do more like this!

Wow, this is incredible. Their expressions - Bepo's concern and obvious worry, the almost distracted mania in Law's eyes. All the implications of the blood, especially the handprint, and I feel like I can almost hear the crackle of flames in whatever poor camp Law just destroyed. Love on a million different levels. ♥
