Finally!

Do you wanna know the whole reason I started drawing? It wasn't because I enjoyed it, it wasn't because I wanted to make a career out of it. No, it's because of one blue eyed, spikey haired blond!

When I was young...I never played any video games. My brother did, friends did..me? None, not anything...

Until I saw a commercial on TV of said blonde. I remember being fascinated by the eyes and the hair and then he had the Bike and and.....well I was hooked. My younger brother had to explain to me what a Playstation was and after that, it was all I wanted. So dad got it for me and every weekend I visited him (was still young and living with mom because of divorce) I rented FF7. One problem....I had no memory card and still had no idea how to play an RPG. Still...after three months of constantly spending hours going through Midgar, only to have to shut it off and go to bed and then restart the next day.....I finally got the hang of it and finally had enough money for a memory card.

It became my obssession and from there Meaghan introduced me to Anime (Battle Arena Toshinden was the first thing she showed me ^^;;) and well, i wanted to draw simply so i could bring Cloud, Zack, Sephiroth...well all of them, to life. No one else that i knew who was an artist would and thus, I was left with nothing and felt they were left with nothing. So when the teacher showed me a trick to drawing (draw a picture upside down) i slowly began to learn. I copied every picture of those characters I could find and prayed one day I would be good enough to draw my own.

Now...finally, I can say that it has worked. I've finally drawn Cloud (Kingdom Hearts version but yeah....) and can actually say i'm happy with it. I'm still not as good as i want to be, but at least after...how many years??? I can say that I'm finally able to obtain my wish.

Sorry for the longish rant type thing...but.....yeah.....here's your pic...

One more thing first...I'd like to say that in response to all the art there where Cloud looks more like a young girl than anything else, i shall always do my best to make sure he looks like a guy!

I've played games for years, but I didn't lose my heart to one until I set eyes on one Vincent Valentine. VI and VII are my favorite of the FF series.

Vincent...hasn't yet given me permission to draw him, basically because I'm of a mixed mind on his attitude, mainly him being a Turk as well as the one who travels with you. Until I can decide on an attitude that hasn't been influenced by everyone else (mainly fanfics) I don't feel I could do a decent drawing of him although I desperately want to....

Vincet is tricksy, that's for sure. The one thing I never did like was the Supreme Angst! Vincent. Yeah, he was asleep and all...but he seems to work a lot of that out in-game, especialy if you take him into the fight with Hojo. But he isn't quite coldheartedbastard! Either.

I'm stopping now before I get going. I just meant to say that yeah - pinning down his attitude is difficult. I'm still not entirely decided, I think that's why my one fanfic is still unfinished.

Yeah he's not all that angsty, and he's definately no as ....submissive....as many people portray him..I mean he was a Turk and has a demon locked inside him!!!!

I just wish that i could hear his thoughts for an hour....then maybe I'd have a better idea of how to go about him. . .

Ohhhh. He looks wonderful! My three utmost favorite game characters have to be Vincent Valentine, Kuja, and Zell Dincht. Vincent because of the angst, of course, Zell because of his personality, and Kuja because he makes me laugh (really hard). XD

Will definately have to try and figure Vincent out since he has so many fans and I do want to bring him to life...*sighs and then pounces*

Awsome pic there, I love pencil sketch art!! I wish I could heft a buster sword! 0_0 As for what (and this is just my opinion) Vincents attitude may be like... totatlly dark clad romantic. He was in love with Sepehiroths mom and Hojo made him into a freak. But yeah in exchange he gets to use jenova genes when hes angry. That and immortatality, but yeah I could rant for pages and pages about FF7 (the only FF game I like... other than FF tactics on Gameboy advance). Anywho, just came to see how ya were, off to bed. -_- ZzZz

Hmmm...it does give me a few ideas though.

So...because you came over here, does that mean you were worried??? About me??? Nice to know I'm loved ^____^ I just haven't had time for Gaia with school and art....sorry...miss you though! *pounces*

Yeah I was a bit worried but I fig'ed it was school and art so no worries. I havent had time for Gaia either though, tried to log in and it was giving me problems *grumbles* Anywho, I'm off to Vegas for the weekend so until then take care, after that i'll try Gaia again and see what you're up to.
