Very shiney...

So, I was hoping to just show this pic once it was fully completed, but I'm a little too pleased and a little too impatient to wait, so I'll show you a little in-progress pic for now!!

IT's Phoenixes! Not something I've really done before and well, I'm rather proud of how they've been turning out. The linework isn't going to remain the same and the final glow isn't there, but the colourwork is what I really want to show you!

So take a look!! Please?

They're amazing! ^__^ I can't recall having seen a blue phoenix before, but it makes sense (it burns hotter! /dork) and I love the colors. (That's not to say the red/orange phoenix isn't gorgeous, either! It's wonderful as well! <333)

I've never seen one either (besides in One Piece) and so I just had to try and well, don't know if you can see it or not, but there is a third, white, phoenix in the back as well which should have a more ghostly glow in the end ^___^

Ah! I see! I had wondered if the white was going to be part of the blue phoenix, but I can definitely see it as a third one instead. ^__^

Oh, very pretty! The wings are very cool - not quite feathers but not quite elemental - and I think the colouring on the fire phoenix is particularly lovely. ^_^

I had a hard time deciding exactly how to colour them and in the end just went with the flow...

The results please me muchly and I'm glad it's being enjoyed so far ^^
