Fail?

So I got a Tumblr (just because...) and posted a piece of art. But I go to post another...and it's not showing up, and any caption I add changes the caption for the picture already posted.

But If I insert an image into a new text post, it'll let me, but doesn't scale it down to fit...

What am I doing wrong?

Here it is, posted and with caption! Yeah!



Then I use the same process to put in a different picture, no caption...



And instead of posting it, it just changes the caption of the first post.



But if I insert it in a text post...



It shows up, but doesn't fit... ;__; and I really don't want to have to type in dimensions everytime I go to post art....(yeah I'm lazy, I know)

And...last time it showed up under the first post, now the first post disappeared...

Help?

Tumblr is pretty weird. :/ I have no idea why the picture posting isn't working, but if you text post, you do have to type in new dimensions every time. It's pretty irritating.

Did you try uploading the second picture through Tumblr, or did you just enter an external URL?

I tried both ways thinking that might have been the problem, but both times, it just gives me the first pic ;____;

....I thought Tumblr was suppose to be easy >>

This will sound condescending, but did you check the original URL?

I'm going to try posting some pictures myself in the meantime to see if I can duplicate the issue.

Still trying some things, but so far no duplication. Have you checked your dashboard at all? www.tumblr.com/dashboard

Though I'll admit right now all I'm seeing is the first picture.

Just did now and yeah, just the first pic. Should I try posting the second pic again? It's easy to go back and delete posts, right?

Yep. Looking at your Tumblr, I'm only seeing the first picture, complete with correct caption.

So far no duplication of the process here.

If the second picture comes up duplicates, it should be easy enough to delete the extra -- on the dashboard, there should be a pale grey word that says "delete".

It wasn't you. It was probably Tumblr fucking up.

I've had some reblogging issues every now and again, where the reblog doesn't go through when I want it to and I do it again and SUDDENLY DOUBLES
