Need help with something.....

See picture below?

(tis a crappy scan btw....)

Well it's just a very small part of a larger picture (11 x 14) and well, I have several people interested in buying it (the original, not the print) when it's completed and I have no idea how to price my work... The picture has already taken about 8 hours and will require probably a solid week of just drawing to complete...

Can anyone offer any suggestions or a guideline?

Please??

Oh wow... well, I'm no real use at judging how much to sell originals for, but for that large, the original piece, that detailed/long to do... I've seen pieces like it go for 1-2 hundred.

Yeah, originals of that quality generally go for a couple hundred. If it's by a well-known artist, I've seen them bid up into the thousands at con auctions. If the whole is 11x14... maybe 200-300? Depending on how you end up finishing it. You might take a look at Nene Thomas' pricing, keeping in mind that she is established. (http://www.nenethomas.com/originals/index.html)

Wow. O_O That's amazing! I say you let them fight for it. Whoever offers the most gets it!

I'd say $150-280. Thats amazing work.

For future referance to price you gotta factor in the paper, the meduim, the size and of course the time you put into it.

My sister says she'd price it $80-200.

I love it babe and if I had the money I'd buy it myself. ^__^ Though the E-bay idea's really good too. Happy gobble gobble.

I have a perfect solution, darling: give it to me for Christmas! LOL! J/K! I would buy it, though. That is so pretty! It's awesome! The detail is amazing...
I'd say $200 for that would be selling yourself short, but if you aren't established at all, maybe a little more would be about right.

Sorry it's been so long.. :-( So busy...
