Rollercoaster!!
Dec. 10th, 2004 02:12 pmWell, today started off really horrid but turned out really good.
It all started out with the newspaper this morning. On the front cover it told that gay-marriage is now legal. Good thing right? I think so, but my friend and a staff memeber at school didn't seem to think so since my friend interrupted my conversation with said staff memeber to say "This is the sickest thing"
They got off on the topic and how God doesn't allow it and how they could be together but don't have the right to be married, and I grew really really upset since it applies to me although they didn't know that at the time.
They finally figured when I grew silent and left the room.
I spent about an hour trying to hold back tears and not throw up and then finally when my teacher arrived and the rest of the class was ready to go on our trip, my teacher Norma brought me to the side said she had heard of the conversation and that she supported me and that they had no right to talk as they did.
That calmed me down and allowed me to enjoy our trip the University, which included me making a fool of myself playing ping-pong ^^;;;
But what really made my day was while the rest of teh Class was touring the Biology Room, Norma had arranged for me to be taken through the Animation and Art Studios.
Needless to say I was in Paradise and bouncing around like a little kid. I didn't want to leave, but sadly I had to...
But now....I know that I have what it takes to make it into the courses I want and that made me feel better ^______^
Don't know what'll happen next week at school, but at least I know I have a few of the teachers aware of my feelings and who will support me.
